Italian Commercial Vehicle of the Year 2006
The new Fiat Ducato (4,916) easily won the Commercial Vehicle of the Year category, with another brand new Fiat LCV product, the Scudo van (1,838) in second place while the van version of the Grande Punto (1,043) rounded out the top three.

Fiat Grande Punto Van
The 4-seater Grande Punto Van, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, is available in both 3- and 5-door configurations, and is 4,030 mm long. Carrying capacity of the compact van is a generous 300 litres, with the luggage compartment measuring 699 mm deep, 1,034 mm wide and 842 mm high. The range comes with 3 engines, with the 1.4 8v Fire petrol offering 77 bhp, as well as the 1.3 16v Multijet in 75 and 90 bhp guises. The Grande Punto Van offers exceptional safety standards, and is fitted across the range with ABS / EBD and frontal airbags for the driver and passenger.

Fiat Nuovo Strada
The Strada facelift offers the 1.3 16v Multijet engine option for the main European markets, as well as a host of detailing improvements. The new engine gives 85 bhp, a top speed of 165 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 13.5 seconds. Maximum loading capactiy is 1,000 kg, and volume ranges from 800 to 1,100 m3 depending on the long and short cabin configurations. Two trim levels (Strada and Adventure) and 2 bodies are available, as well as 11 body colours including 7 metallics. The Strada is built at the main Fiat Automòveis plant in Betim, Brazil.

Fiat Scudo
Developed with PSA, the Scudo becomes the benchmark for its category in terms of payload, volume, performance, quality, sturdiness and safety, as well as anti-theft protection. The loading volume has been increased, and now ranges between 5 and 7 m3, and the payload extends from 1,000 to 1,200 kg. The Scudo comes in various shapes and sizes: 2 wheelbases, 2 external lengths, 2 load lengths. There are also 3 passenger transport versions on offer. The range comprises 3 smooth and efficient Multijet engines ranging from 90 to 136 bhp.

Fiat Ducato
Distinctive for its original shape inspired by high-speed trains, the aerodynamic Ducato (0.31 cd) is not only stylish but functional and comfortable. An increase in size and load capacity are met with reduced running costs and a lowered load platform. Three common rail 16v diesel engines are offered ranging from 100 to 157 bhp. Maximum safety is ensured with differential crumple zones, 4-disc braking system, ABS / EBD and drivers airbag throughout the range. A diverse range of bodies, structures, payloads, wheelbases, lengths and exterior colours are offered.

Iveco Daily
Styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Daily now comes with 5 EURO4 4-cylinder 16v turbodiesel engines ranging from 96 to 176 bhp, as well as an environmentally-friendly CNG version. The range is extensive with 3 classes offering single or twin rear wheels according to the GVW (from 2.8 to 6.5 t). For chassis cabs wheelbases range from 3000 to 4750 mm and bodywork length ranges from 2520 to 6200 mm. For vans, wheelbases range from 3000 to 3950 mm, whilst volume varies from 7 to 17 m3 and is available in 3 heights. An automated gearbox is also optional.
